AARP Driver Safety – September 1, 2021 is the new scheduled date for AARP to begin reintroducing the in-person Driver Safety classes. See Newsletter.

Senior Center Lunch Pick Up Resumed – Marion-Polk Food Share has resumed lunch service Monday through Friday from 12:00 –1:00 PM daily. Boxed lunches will be “Handed Out” at the side of the building near the kitchen. “Drivers are asked to remain in their cars”. Kayla/Steve will greet you and take your orders; two option will be available daily. For the present no donations or fees apply… See Newsletter.

SSSC is not a Meals on Wheels distribution center. If you would like home delivery call 503-364-2856.

Exercise keeps you Healthy! … Exercise helps boost your immune system. Get out and walk, jog, join a health club. Exercise also helps if you feel depressed.

Meetings This Month

Meetings Canceled until further notice except…

Crafters –  If you would like to join us, we will meet every Monday, if the weather is good and sit in the parking lot of SSS from 1:00 to 2:30. Bring your own chair, wear a mask  and we’ll gather in the parking lot. See Newsletter for details.

Garden Club – Rose will be having the PLANT SALE at her house in the driveway again this year, 3rd weekend in May. See Newsletter for details.

Breakfast will resume when we open again

Canceled until further notice, no volunteers until we start up again.

When we open you’re invited to come in once a month to help with the breakfast.

We offer Pancakes, Homemade Biscuits and Gravy, Scrambled Eggs, Sausage or Ham, Orange Juice, Coffee and Tea. Join us for a fun community breakfast!

Learn the intricacies of the dishwasher & flip over volunteering! We caught you dreaming about our fluffy pancakes. Don’t wait!
