Closed Holiday – We’ll be closed Feb. 17th for President’s Day.
CERT- Community Emergency Response Training – Our Center is hosting this City of Salem training Monday & Thursday, 5 pm to 9 pm until Feb. 20th.
AARP Taxes – Tax preparers from AARP, Wed. & Thurs. at 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. Please see or call Frontdesk (503-588-0748) to make an appointment.
Robert Oakes – Member’s Meeting on February 12, 2020. Robert Oakes from the Salem Hospital will speak about the construction of a new addition.
Have you finished your refreshing drink? South Salem Senior Center accepts cans and plastic bottle CONTRIBUTIONS. We invite you to drop your Refundable bottles and cans here!
Meetings This Month
Board Meeting – Second Monday at 10 am, open to all members. Agenda is posted on the hallway bulletin board.
Members Meeting – Second Wednesday at 1 pm.
Care Givers – Every 4th Wednesday at 1:45 pm. Support group by NW Seniors.
Self Defense – Every Monday and Thursday at 10 am. for $5/class.
Garden Club – On Wednesday at 1 pm. PLEASE join us for the Master Gardener gardening talk.
Tai Chi – Every Tuesday and Thursday at 1:30 pm. The cost is $40 for the 8 classes. Please contact Jill Corcoran at 503-385-3257.
Needle Craft – Every Monday at 1 pm. Come join the fun, cost $1.00.
Shakespeare Club – Every 4th Wednesday 1-3 pm, Free. Overview of various plays and characters. For info, call Joan 971-719-2243 or Doug 503-385-6780.

Pancake Breakfast
For ONLY $5, Third Saturday – 8 am to 10 am.
Are you an early riser? You’re invited to come in once a month to help with the breakfast.
We offer Pancakes, Homemade Biscuits and Gravy, Scrambled Eggs, Sausage or Ham, Orange Juice, Coffee and Tea. Join us for a fun community breakfast!
Learn the intricacies of the dishwasher & flip over volunteering! We caught you dreaming about our fluffy pancakes. Don’t wait!
